Located in Città Studi, a few minutes far from Milan Central Station, in a strategic position easily connected to all the points of interest of the city, 21 WOL | Way of Living comes with the idea of reinventing the concept of hospitality, proposing a various and exclusive offer of experiences: from modern hotel rooms to long-stay hospitality solutions, up to personalised ideas for smart working.

21WOL looks like a hybrid space designed to overcome the closed and traditional hotellerie formula, creating a lively and barrier-free community, therefore not the usual hotel but a “work in progress” place of connection, thought according to the changing both in the private and in the working life; a “home” able not only to host travellers and students, but to become a point of reference open to the block and the city.

The structure, for which Rizoma Architetture realised the concept of the Interior design project taking part to the co-design of the definitive stage, offers 120 rooms for short e long stay, with a total of 157 sleeping places, on a gross surface of approximately 5000 square meters.  The garden, green heart of the residency, extends instead for more or less 1000 square meters, partially green and partially equipped with seats and tables for an open air life available also for the citizens.

The triple height hall is the core of the intervention, the connection between the new building and the old one, the space on which all the activities of the community overlook, the meeting point open onto the garden.

A space that is fluid like an extension of the public urban space, a flexible, hyperconnected, open community where it’s possible to organise exhibitions, meetings, that can offer co-working and studying spaces, places for events and live music concerts, inside a living room characterised by warm and mediterranean colours and by the practical and functional charme of the furniture, designed and realised by the italian brand LAGO.
