Cosmogonia is the new collection of handcrafted rugs designed by Rizoma Architetture in collaboration with Luxury Carpet: a visionary journey that translates the universe into contemporary signs, colors, and textures.
Five rugs narrate planetary geometries, imperfect orbits, chromatic explosions, and celestial trajectories that evolve into playful, dynamic patterns. Each piece is conceived as a micro-galaxy: a textile artwork that blends aesthetic research and design with a bold, distinctive personality.
The strength of the collection lies not only in its visual language but above all in its artisanal virtuosity. Each rug is entirely handmade, through a weave of complex techniques – shaggy textures, dégradé shades, concave and convex carvings, cut & loop effects – giving life to vibrant surfaces, rich in detail and nuance.
With Cosmogonia, the art of weaving becomes interior architecture: a tribute to craftsmanship that pushes the limits of production and transforms space into a microcosm to inhabit.
