Design + Nature + Architecture
It is not a house.
It is a question.
A provocation.
A manifesto.
DNA House is the conceptual proposal by Rizoma Architetture, born from a simple yet radical belief: we can no longer design the spaces we inhabit as we have always done, without considering the profound changes taking place in the world around us.
The climate crisis calls for more than efficient buildings.
It calls for a different way of imagining the spaces we live in.
DNA House does not seek to provide definitive answers.
It seeks to open up new questions.
Can a house help cool down a city?
Can design change the way we live and behave?
Can architecture become an active tool for environmental regeneration?
Can human wellbeing finally go hand in hand with the wellbeing of the Planet?
We believe it can.
That is why DNA House is more than a project.
It is an invitation to imagine a new way of living — closer to nature, closer to one another and, ultimately, closer to ourselves.
Because rethinking the home means rethinking the city.
Rethinking the city means rethinking our relationship with the Planet.
And designing the Planet means, first and foremost, designing a better way of living for everyone.
