Winners and Honourable Mentions Announced for the Fifth Edition

Milan, 28 January 2025 – The awards ceremony for the fifth edition of the THE PLAN Real Estate Award took place on Tuesday, 27 January, at the Fonderia Napoleonica Eugenia in Milan. The international competition, promoted by the architecture magazine THE PLAN, is dedicated to the most significant real estate developments currently underway or completed over the past three years.

Conceived and organised by THE PLAN, the event was held in partnership with Atlas Concorde and Buro Milan, and brought together developers, investors, designers and institutions for a moment of discussion on urban regeneration, sustainability and innovation in the real estate sector.

The evening opened with the roundtable discussion “Accessible Cities, Competitive Assets”, providing an opportunity to explore new urban scenarios and sustainable development strategies, followed by the awards ceremony.


The Jury

The finalists, selected from over 70 international submissions, were evaluated by a multidisciplinary jury composed of:

  • Barbara Cominelli, Chair, Urban Land Institute Italia, and Executive Chairman of Spindox

  • Francesca Federzoni, Vice President of OICE and President of Politecnica Building for Humans

  • Luca Giannelli, CEO of United Consulting and MSC Associati

  • Massimiliano Pulice, Head of the Urban Regeneration and Infrastructure Competence Center, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti

The award is structured into four categories: ESG; Innovation and Design; Investment and Asset Management; Urban Regeneration, each divided into Future and Completed projects.

  • Completed: Faro Building, Ardian Real Estate

Winners

The jury recognised projects capable of interpreting ESG criteria in a tangible and effective manner, with particular attention to reducing carbon footprint, enhancing user well-being, and regenerating disused urban and industrial contexts.
