CASA PEPLO

In the heart of Milan, Casa Peplo—headquarters of the original event agency Peplo—emerges as a space that blurs the boundaries between workspace, residence, and collaborative hub, embodying a new approach to contemporary working life.

This versatile environment, designed to be more than just an office, becomes a laboratory for ideas, relationships, and creativity, thanks to the interior design by Rizoma Architetture, which interprets the multifunctional spirit of the project while emphasizing flexibility, identity, and narrative.

The design of Casa Peplo plays with warm materials, rich textures, and carefully curated furnishings. Many elements are vintage, such as a dark wooden sideboard and a carved trunk, adding warmth and a touch of nostalgia. These are complemented by a series of eclectic details and references that, while seemingly distant, create an unexpectedly harmonious overall effect.

A lounge corner features legless “floor mattress” chairs with a slightly hippie flair. The kitchen is made of stainless steel with mint green doors. Orange pendant lights evoke the pop and avant-garde energy of the 1960s—a time when the Moon landing captivated the world. A piano and a large professional scale coexist alongside bare industrial windows and a neon-accented fluorescent yellow wall.

At the center of the space, a generous raw wooden table, constructed from “work planks,” serves as a reminder that here, “we create, produce, and work hard.” The table acts as a symbol of connection: a place where ideas intersect, relationships are nurtured, and moments of collaboration are shared—from brainstorming sessions to collective lunches.

Overall, the design of Casa Peplo combines the energy of a dynamic, creative environment with the comfort and warmth of a lived-in home, creating a space that feels both professional and deeply welcoming.

A workspace that feels just like home.
