CampusX is an all-Italian Student Housing reality that is growing rapidly throughout the country.
The vibrant, young and unconventional mood that distinguishes its facilities is also found in the new HQ Office in Rome.
The offices of the Rome office are housed in a strict 1970s building a stone’s throw from Villa Borghese; the interiors, in stark contrast to the context, fully reflect CX’s brand identity.
The space was designed as a large open space of about 320 square meters, in which areas with different levels of privacy were identified according to the department.
In fact, the different souls of CX interact in this space on a daily basis: active facilities are administered here, new openings are planned, meetings and business meetings are organized, but one can also indulge in a break in the lounge&game area.
Spaces are maximally utilized by carving out different work spaces; the layout is entirely flexible and reconfigurable through the use of movable glass walls, textile doors (Doors) and mobile phone boots and meeting rooms (Mutelabs).
The interior design focuses on the contrast between Bold&Soft: strong, bold hues with vivid, vibrant colors, recycled materials in melange tones side by side with shiny metals.
An entire wing features cobalt blue tones that, like a splash of color, invests all surfaces so that the materials and finishes of the furnishings stand out more.
In contrast, the operational area is declined in more neutral and calm hues, all walls are organized to make it easy and operational for various departments to work through pinnable acoustic walls and writable blackboards.
Thus, the project aims to recreate a comfortable, smart and dynamic space for an ever-changing reality that identifies with the principles of sustainability, flexibility and adaptability.
