CX Rome | San Pietro, the new project by CX Living, is set to open by the end of the year. The group, specialised in student housing and living, is consolidating its presence in the capital while launching a new business area strongly focused on short stays and hybrid hospitality.
Located on Via del Crocifisso, just a few minutes from the Vatican, the new development has been designed by Mario Cucinella Architects as a flexible space capable of responding to the needs of young professionals relocating to Rome, smart workers, expats and employees on temporary assignments, looking for short- and medium-to-long-term accommodation solutions.
The property comprises 294 rooms, including 110 dedicated to short stays and 184 to long stays. These include the ‘Signature Rooms’, customised suites featuring works by predominantly Roman artists, designed to create an experience deeply connected to the city and its local identity.
Alongside the private rooms, the project offers a range of services and social spaces, including wellness and fitness areas, lounges and soft coworking spaces, as well as rooms dedicated to events and cultural activities.
A 1,500-square-metre panoramic rooftop will also serve as a meeting place open to the city, animated by an ever-evolving programme of music, art, fashion, events and collaborations with local organisations.
The interiors, designed by Rizoma Architetture, are conceived as dynamic, welcoming environments with a strong focus on comfort, in line with the standards that have contributed to the building’s BREEAM certification, an international protocol for assessing the sustainability and environmental performance of buildings.
