At the heart of Rome, just a few steps from St. Peter’s Basilica, CX The Nexus reinterprets hospitality through an interior design project that embodies the core principles and functions of hybrid hospitality — meet, stay, eat and work. The result is a distinctive dialogue between understated elegance, expressive Mediterranean character and the comfort of home. The interiors stand out for their refined, contemporary aesthetic, combining compositional rigour with unexpected details to create an atmosphere that is sophisticated yet never formal, where guests can truly feel at home.

The colour palette blends neutral tones and muted hues with brighter accents, expressed through geometric patterns, tactile surfaces and distinctive furniture pieces. Glossy ceramic tiles, warm wood grain details and enveloping lighting create a balanced interplay of textures and reflections, while soft, occasionally eccentric seating introduces a playful, informal dimension. Irreverent neon signs and suspended wire-light installations complete the interior language, adding a light-hearted touch and a subtle sense of irony. Finally, the greenery of plants scattered throughout the spaces brings nature indoors, softening the geometry and contributing to a vibrant, relaxed atmosphere.

This distinctive aesthetic takes shape through a variety of settings designed to accommodate different moments of the day and encourage new forms of interaction, embracing the principles of hybrid hospitality and flexible spaces. The project unfolds across a range of experiences: a welcoming Food & Beverage area, workspaces featuring round tables and secluded alcoves for focused work, a gym, leisure areas with pool tables, and rooms and suites in a variety of sizes and layouts. Completing the project is a panoramic terrace featuring a Food & Beverage outlet open to the city, with breathtaking views of St. Peter’s Basilica, where Rome reveals itself in all its extraordinary beauty.
