CX Trieste | Giulia is the new hotspot in Italy’s most cosmopolitan city.

The new CX facility hosts students and tourists who fully embrace every aspect of the city.

The building, formerly the administrative offices of Telecom, has been completely renovated and transformed into a hybrid structure capable of accommodating university students, smart workers, and travelers from all over the world who want to study or live in a stimulating and ever-evolving environment.

The structure spans 9 floors and offers various solutions for long and short stays: 360 beds in a total of 290 student rooms, 25 hotel rooms, and 2 hostel dormitories.

Like the city itself, CX Trieste is a creative, vibrant, and colorful space, truly unique: a melting pot of functions and flexible spaces that blend the two souls of the city into a Brutal-Deco concept. This combines the brutalist character of 20th-century buildings with the hyper-decorative style typical of the city’s finest historic cafés.

The common areas are distributed across several levels, starting from the ground floor, where the welcome area features an iconic counter inspired by the geometries of the Monte Grisa Sanctuary, and the gym, which mixes a dark purple atmosphere with a zen meditation room in warm, natural tones.

The common spaces continue in the basement, where the most student-focused activities are found: a communal kitchen with a dining room and a game area that can be converted into a cinema room.

On the 4th floor, the tones become calmer and brighter with the study area and a stunning terrace that opens up to views of the city’s hills.
