In the Costa / Saragozza district, located close to the center of Bologna and encompassing the entire area from the historic center to the border with the neighboring municipality of Casalecchio di Reno, stands in an area of great quiet a building from the 1960s.
The regular mesh of the structure allowed for a strip – out, a complete renovation and demolition of the apartment’s interior walls, making it possible to achieve a custom-made house that looks like a tailor-made suit that falls to the client’s needs.
The structure gives the house a square-like function, a place of sociability and welcome, where to exchange life stories over dinners and cultural events with a breathtaking view of the hills and the Sanctuary of St. Luke.
The open space presents fluid environments without rigid separations, with impressive spaces tastefully furnished; the large living space is brightened through light colors and warm, welcoming materials that reflect the owner’s tastes and desires.
Walls are kept to a minimum, which makes the rooms seem to merge into each other and flow very smoothly as you walk through the house.
Finally, a choice was made to maintain an original pillar, dividing the living and sleeping areas, around which the whole house revolves.
